42nd Car Giveaway – July 4th, 2019

Kaitlynn's father was William Stearns, who was deployed to Desert Shield and also Desert Storm. She is a recent High School graduate, and she started working the day after graduation. Before receiving the car from Up By Their Bootstraps she had to Uber to and from work. Kaitlynn wants to go to college but with the financial burden of not having a car and Ubering to and from work it wasn’t feasible for her.

The Howard family choose to donate their vehicle after purchasing another one as Chris Howard himself is a Navy Veteran. They wanted to be able to give someone a hand up, and they have done just that.
