Gratitude Corner
We have set up a wall of remembrance where people can add the names of their military family and friends - past and present. We ask for everyone to take few moments to stop, reflect, support and pray for our military families.
The Tribute Wall at Gratitude Corner is located in Goodyear, at the corner of Indian Springs Road and 143rd Avenue – on the way to Phoenix International Raceway. It is accessible for visitation around the clock.
Up By Their Bootstraps was created to give a “Hand Up, not a Hand Out”; offering assistance to our military men and women, where needed, in a dignified and honorable manner. We work with members of the military and their families who are in need of housing, transportation, job training and business opportunities, whether they are deployed or have recently returned from deployment… Giving back to those who have given so much.

A Huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers and team members for the hard work you do!
Over the last few months, the sun and other elements were beginning to fade the messages along the Tribute Wall at Gratitude Corner. We reached out to our UBTB volunteers and several took time out of their day to help rewrite some of the faded memorials on the wall. These individuals made sure that our veteran’s honorable service, and our memories of our loved ones lives on.

Dear Sir:
Wishing to let you know how appreciated is your hard work and sacrifices to erect the Veterans Memorial on your property by the Phoenix International Raceway.
We stopped by, yesterday and had the opportunity to admire the “tons” of material for the memorial. The lights, sure give a special and distinctive effect to our National Colors and of every one of our military branches.

It's Nancy, the tattooed hippy lady who stopped by Wednesday morning to sign the wall. I hope that I will be able to help in some way. I am so happy that you took the time to honor our soldiers and kept pushing to take your efforts to the public eye. Thank you, as the mother and daughter of American soldiers, and on behalf of the generous caring people I have met during my journey that reached out to thank me for my son's service to our country...THANK YOU.

Please honor the following: Timothy Gamache, Christopher Todaro and Kathleen Todaro. If possible I would really love it if someone could please write their names on the wall before it is sealed? For the first time ever we are all getting together for Christmas and I would love to bring them out to see the wall and have them see their names on the wall. I would love it if it read ” Thank you Tim, Chris and Kathleen for serving our country and making this the best place to live. You are all hero’s in our hearts, our minds and our soles. It is true, “Freedom is not free, but it is worth the fight”. We will never forget!
